1. Greet your loved one first thing in the morning with a heart shaped pancake or waffle. Hobby Lobby, Michael’s or even Wal-Mart carry really cute and cheap heart cookie cutters that would make this really easy! Bits of raspberries, strawberries or even chocolate chips mixed into the batter would create a yummy pancake. Write your own valentine message with raspberry or strawberry sauce. Add whipped cream for frills. Why stop with one day? One of those cute little heart shaped waffle irons from Wal-Mart would keep the love going all year round.
2. Get some dove chocolates and inside each wrapper leave a little message. It could be romantic, or it could just say things you love about your loved one. Leave them in strategic places for a delightful discovery throughout the day.
3. Write a poem for your loved one. Tell him or her how you really feel. Cheesy isn't always bad. Tell them what you love so much about them. It will be appreciated if you're ultimately saying I love you. Check out some great examples for your love poem at www.lovepoemsandquotes.com, www.best-love-poems.com, www.1lovepoems.com, or even www.123lovepoems.com. Feel free to let go and really enjoy yourself!
4. Have a late night sundae date. Don't spare anything! Set up the kitchen table for a sundae delight....hot fudge, cookie chunks, nuts, cherries, whipped cream, etc. Curl up with your sundaes on the couch to a wonderfully romantic movie and enjoy!

6. Picnics are also romantic, but sometimes the weather’s just not right. What about an indoor picnic? Clear out a room. Have a nice blanket ready with the candles cheese, grapes, French bread, wine, etc. Maybe even bring some potted plants in the room for that outdoor effect. A picnic away from the TV and the computer is ideal and will keep the attention on the two of you and in the right place. This can be followed with card games, poem reading, etc. for a really sweet time. Be creative and don’t forget about those perfect times when the weather outside is just perfect for that outdoor picnic.
7. Create a romantic evening mood in a room with lots of tea light candles and drapery. Tea light candles grouped in little bunches all over a room with a few flower petals can completely turn a room around. It makes it intimate and romantic. They can be placed on something as simple as a serving dish or a flat surface without other objects around. If you have any filmy material, tablecloths, or any kind of attractive fabric, it's easy to create a dramatic and elegant atmosphere with draped material. Tacks can even be used for hanging from walls. Make sure to cover the tacks in the folds of the fabric. Soft music playing in the background is also great for adding to the mood.
8. Talk sweet to each other as an outward sign of your love. Try to leave tension, stress and venting of the day’s events outside. When you are together try to only say things that are complimenting, sincere and positive. This alone can have a huge influence on how you communicate with each other, and increase romantic feelings.

9. Small touches, light caressing and massaging increase sensory levels. Touch is a very important component to a relationship and showing love. Something as simple as a hand or head massage can be romantic and a treat for your lover. Women especially enjoy touch in a relationship to know you love them. Hold her hand when you are walking or watching a movie, put your arm around her when you think about it, and lightly touch her arm or her back as you pass her. You’ll be amazed at what these simple acts of love will do to tell your loved on how you feel.
10. Last but not least, say I love you as many times as you can. Say it in creative ways, messages on the phone, window chalk on the car, sticky notes on the mirror, etc. Whatever ways you choose to show each other you love them, don't forget to say "I LOVE YOU!"
